One sound · Three small steps

Look. Listen. Try.

No drills and no English letter names. A few playful minutes are enough.

  1. 1

    Look

Find Yaya’s mouth shape and the story clue in your book.

  2. 2

    Listen

Play the child speaker once before anyone copies the sound.

  3. 3

    Try

Make the same mouth, say it once, and celebrate a brave try.

A small but important note

Let the recording be the sound authority.

Pinyin uses familiar Roman letters, but they do not always behave like English phonics. Listen before naming the letter, model once, then invite the child to copy. Accurate listening matters more than memorizing.
